Why is the Bonita Springs City Staff putting illegal roadblocks in front of small businesses and property owners?

To make Bonita a more beautiful place to live and work, the City government has to work with property owners to allow for growth while maintaining strong community standards.

But when one property owner tried to build something on their land on U.S. 41, the exact opposite happened: the City Staff created fictitious arguments and negotiated in bad faith in order to prevent folks from using their land.

This is the story of that unfortunate fight, which the City Council will be able to fix on February 3rd, 2016.

“[The car wash is] a thoroughly developed, well landscaped project with architecture which would enhance the surrounding area.”
